Screening and testing will be offered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9am - 3pm until further notice. Subject to change based on availability of test kit supplies.
Veterans Fairground located at 220 Cecil ST/1615 Heroes DR (Corner of Cecil Street & Heroes Drive) in Scottsboro, AL.
No physician order required to be tested at the site. A provider will be onsite to screen patients and write orders for those who need to be tested.
Patients with a physician order may also be tested at the site.

Upon arrival, patient is to remain in vehicle and follow signs through screening site.
Test swab will be administered at patient vehicle.

This includes surgical services, lung cancer screenings, physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, respiratory therapy, infusion therapy, sleep lab, outpatient lab, imaging center and all other services provided at the hospital.
NO VISITORS ALLOWED AT HMC
For the protection of our patients, staff and visitors, and by order of Governor Kay Ivey and the Alabama Department of Public Health (March 19, 2020), no visitors are allowed at Highlands Medical Center.
One visitor per patient will be permitted in extraordinary circumstances, including maternity, pediatrics and end-of-life care.
Medical screenings for fever will be performed on all approved visitors. Persons with a temperature of 100.4 degrees or greater will not be allowed to enter.
HMC remains open to patients for diagnostic services and treatment in the Therapy Center, Imaging Center, Surgery Center, and Outpatient Lab as prescribed by a physician, as well as, those seeking emergency medical attention.
