Highlands Occupational Medicine Center
Highlands Occupational Medicine Center provides industries and businesses with a wide range
of services. Among those are:

- work-related injuries
- 24-hour, on-site
alcohol and drug testing
- return-to-work evaluations
- physical and occupational
therapy
- vision and hearing
screenings
- sleep disorder screenings
- pulmonary rehabilitation
- cardiac rehabilitation

educational programs.
The clinic is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday
through Friday.
Dr.
James Johnt, M.D. leads the clinical team at Highlands Occupational
Medicine Center.
“Our main purpose is to be a healthcare
partner with industry and business,” said Dr. Johnt. “We
serve companies by fitting the employee to the task, providing
medical screenings and surveillance and addressing wellness.
We serve employees by getting them well and back to work
after work-related injuries and illnesses. The fact that
we’re hospital-based with immediate access to the emergency
room, radiology, the laboratory and rehabilitation services
is a major advantage for our industry and business partners
and their employees.”
Dr. Johnt is board certified in Emergency Medicine.
He has more than 20 years of experience in Emergency Medicine,
General Practice and Occupational Medicine. In addition to
Dr. Johnt, other Occupational Medicine Services staff members
are Johnny McCrary, RN, clinical director, Debbie Grider,
RN, employee health manager, Michele Cameron, office manager,
Pam McAllister, MLT, occupational medicine technician, Kim
Pritchett, RN, medical outreach nurse, and Patsy Foshee,
admissions/discharge clerk.
