What is Medicine on the Move?
Many of you may already have seen Medicine on the Move in your area or rolling along the highways and byways of Jackson County. The mobile medical unit is staffed with medical personnel - such as a physician, nurse practitioner, emergency medical technician, registered nurse or licensed practical nurse — who are available to see patients for a variety of non-emergent conditions. Providers also offer women’s health services and immunizations on the bus.
