Clinic Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs the clerical, data entry, receptionist, scheduling, and time keeping duties of the department.           

EDUCATION/ SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Must hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.  A Business College Degree in Business Management preferred. Prior experience in medical setting is preferred. 

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
No License is required.

Medical Assistant

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:
In support of the office, assists patients and physician before, during and after medical examination/treatment. Maintains a safe and clean environment.  Work is done under the direction and supervision of the physician and/or office manager.           

EDUCATION/ SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.       

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Satisfactory completion of nursing assistant certification is preferred.

Nurse Practitioner

POSITION SUMMARY:
In collaboration with a Physician assumes total patient care for designated patients. Plans implements, coordinates and evaluates comprehensive care to ensure quality and continuity of care delivery.  This position works under the professional oversight and direction of a Physician as required by the rules and regulations of the State Board of Medical Examiners and the Board of Nursing.

EDUCATION/ SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.  Previous experience preferred.                                        

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Current Alabama RN license; CRNP credentialed. A.C.L.S. Certification is required.    

Registered Nurse (Wound Care)

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Wound Care Center Clinical Nurse Manager/Clinical Coordinator, the Registered Nurse (RN) primarily provides patient care and handles intake and discharge processes for the Wound Care Center patients as scheduled. The position may also serve as a Case Manager to a group of assigned Wound Care Center patients, as assigned and depending on the Wound Care Center setup. All Healogics employees must perform their job responsibilities according to all Healogics policies, Hospital policies, as well as to accrediting organizations, federal and state regulation, and to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines, as applicable.      

EDUCATION/ SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Associate Degree in Nursing & 2 or more years’ experience as clinical RN, 2 years of which in acute care setting.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Current RN license in the state of practice – to be maintained throughout the duration of employment in the position. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Medical Surgical, Home Health or Wound Care Certification preferred. Wound care experience preferred
